I couldnt sleep well with the cramps that hurt but i had cramps since early pregnancy and my stomach would not fully harden unlike pregnant with the other 3. I told husband that i think that im in labour but i cant comfirm. He asked how could i not since im experienced in birthing. While gotten me told off that those 3 are induced, not happened spontaneously so im like a new mum not knowing what to expect. Neither do i want to go to hospital as they will definitely keep me inside.  According to what i remember is that the pain would be so excruciating that i wouldn't be able to talk.. 

I guess my pain tolerance is quite high that i was able to even sleep though waking up almost every hour due to the pain. I couldnt really sleep also as i have to sit up sleeping as i would vomit if i lie down to sleep. Last few weeks of pregnancy i have to sit up and sleep. Each time i stand up i would feel the bearing down feeling (which is also quite common ) so i could not comfirm if im in labour.At around 4am, it starts to intensify but seems to go on and off so im not sure whats going on and brushed it off. Had very extreme backaches too and thought i as going into labour at 6am but it later went off.. 

I finally slept at around 8am+ on 15 July (i was 39weeks 4 days) and woke up at around 9am with a sharp pain feeling. When i sit up and coughed. My waterbag broke. Thankgod i was wearing a thick pad as i have large amount of discharge and im afraid of pee leakage, thus i "upsized" my pad at the last week.  Quickly, I called for husband (his off day) but unlucky me, as he saw that im asleep which is quite impossible if in labour , he thought that its just a scare and he went off to the doctor as he was having fever. 

I quickly washed up my bottom and called my friend to see if shes at home. Brought Liri to her upstairs, chatted with her about 5mins and quickly went downstairs for taxi. (Liris and Rislin were at school) It was 9am+ when i waited for taxi, in fact once my waterbag broke i quickly call for cab using uber, grabtaxi and comfort but i could not get any taxi at all. And at 9am+ its IMPOSSIBLE to get a taxi at Punggol. I panicked but thankgod, around 5mins suddenly a taxi is spotted and its GREEN!! At that time i still cant get any cab at all using the apps. So then, i made my way to KKH. Though the traffic was smooth sailing but slow. I was having a hard time coping with the pain as i could only sit up (the only position) and breathing in and out. 

Despite my contractions, i staggered up to the delivery suite. The nurses checked me and i was still 5cm dilated and waterbag had broke. I was weak at that time when they wheeled me into the labour room from the ctg area, as i was sleep deprived  for weeks and to be exact i been battling contractions for around 2 days though not constant.

Thought of epidural as i was way too weak to battle with the pain and discuss with a nurse about it. She told me that she`ll check me after 2 contractions before considering epidural and said that usually i wont need it as it should progress quite fast. But before i could make it through the first contraction. i felt that im like "pee-ing" and the waterbag liquid leaked out ALOT, with the baby`s head crowning. I screamed to her im giving birth already.At that point i just pushed with the nurse supporting my two legs up (worst position to be at giving birth, as i was on my back). 

Not long,Baby Linis was out at 3.870kg. Baby Linis was placed on my body with cord intact, and husband walked in the delivery room. Had a 2cm perineal tear, was told by nurse that if my baby is smaller, i wouldnt have any tear. But i would blame it on the delivery position.  From delivery suite check in till baby`s birth takes around 20mins out a bit. 

After birth, i was losing alot of blood and was very pale.My eyes keep rolling back to unconscious. I was drifting in and out of concious. I was given a jab for my womb to contract faster so the bleeding would stop faster. I lost quite a bit of blood and was so weak that i couldn't regain concious from delivering linis at around 10am+ and only able to open my eyes to carry + seeing linis for a while at around 3pm+. 

Even after delivery, i didnt really "recover" till today 19 July, that im able to sit up and on my computer just to type etc. other time was spent sleeping, eating and taking care of linis. He is a very needy baby and he was hospitalized 2 days back at kkh due to red crystals at his pee. Before going in, the dr claimed hes not dehydrated as his tongue is wet. But at nursery dr, they claimed that he was dehydrated. during the two days stay, he usually only take 20ml maximum. they gave him from 50ml to 70ml of formula in just a day! They overfed him and he even came home with the same mittens that he wore there. it was a horrible ordeal for me, knowing that he was overfed with "reasons" that saying they use universal calculator and for his weight should intake this. But every baby is different! And why must the maximum be given?  And whats the reason that his mittens was not taken out during his 2 days stay? So that means that he wore stinky mittens for 2 days even if he was bathed?

keep in mind that he was only 2-3 days old when he went to stay. I was discharged in noon and warded him at midnight.
